At an altitude of 1400 m from the resort facing due south, the cwm of Gourette offers a breathtaking panorama dominated by the Pène Medaa and the Pic de Ger standing respectively at 2520 and 2614 m. The mountains as they should be, grandiose!
Gourette, with "high-powered" ski runs dropping over 1000 m, "fast and spacious" runs, an area of 7 hectares devoted to beginners, with a snowpark and boardercross, is ready for every kind of skier and has been improving its facilities every season. Ultra-modern equipment, natural snow reinforced by a system of artificial snow from an altitude of 1400 m up to 2000 m, daily compaction of the ski runs, that all goes to provide skiing as it should be : stimulating!
