Valmeinier

Situated on the border between the Northern and Southern Alps, close to the Vanoise and the Ecrins National Parks, Valmeinier is the last born of the Maurienne ski resorts. At Valmeinier you can enjoy a maiden flight on a microlight, ski down safe, well marked slopes or partake of simple pleasures such as an outing on snowshoe. And if you fancy a break you can just stick your skis in the snow, lean back and enjoy the view of the snow-capped peaks.
