SKI PLANET is a company governed by French law, with headquarters based at "Chalet La perdix des Neiges" - Avenue Emile Machet - 73350 BOZEL (France) and is registered with the Trade Register of Chambéry under the number 429 482 888. The use of the websites and the purchase of travel services such as package holidays or accommodation offered by SKI PLANET imply full acceptance by the client of these Sales Conditions and unreserved acceptance of all their provisions. Some services, such as ski rental or insurance, can be subject to special terms and conditions. Customers are advised to read these particular conditions.

Published prices are those valid on the selected date and based on maximum occupancy. Availability is published in limited quantities ; technicals hazards may show available accommodation that are not really available. SKI PLANET may contact the customer as quickly as possible to inform the unavailability of the accommodation. The customer may accept an alternative solution or refuse it. For the latter, SKI PLANET will refund the amount paid by the customer.
A minimum deposit of 30% of the total amount confirms booking conditions and the customer must pay the balance 30 days before arrival date. In the absence of final payment, the reservation may be canceled and the customer cannot recover the amounts originally paid. Any booking modification (dates, number of person, localisation, accommodation category) will lead a file transfer charge of 30 €. However, no modification will be accepted during the period generating cancellation fees.
Any bookings made within 30 days prior to arrival must be fully paid by credit card.
A reservation can be an option for 3 days maximum, required time to send a check or "chèques vacances" (holiday check) for the payment of deposit. After these 3 days, the option will be automatically canceled and the customer cannot do any claim.
Any reservation involves 9 € booking fee for mountain destinations and 7 € for seaside destinations. According to the article L. 121-20-4 of the French Consumption Law, the retractation right does not apply.

Once the booking valid, the customer will receive an email confirming the booking that must be kept carefully: it contains all the information on the stay.
The voucher must be submitted in a paper copy at the reception of the residence the day of arrival, even to the ski lifts for ski passes and to the ski shop for equipment. No services will be provided to the customer by the staff on site if the voucher is presented in another format such as smartphone. SKI PLANET assumes no liability for failure handling by the customer travel documents.
At time of reservation, the customer must mention the credit card number and its validity date. Accepted credit cards: blue card, VISA card, Mastercard card, and American Express.
The customer authorizes SKI PLANET to use his credit card for deposit and balance payment. Whatever the cause, the customer shall not oppose to confirmed booking transaction.

The customer has also the possibility to pay by bank transfer or chech and/or "chèque vacances" ANCV (holiday check) which must be at the order of SKI PLANET. Checks must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to Ski Planet - Chalet "La Perdrix des Neiges" - Avenue Emile Machet - 73350 BOZEL - France. The balance will be collected 30 days before the beginning of your stay.
Thanks to our safe server, we guarantee a complete reliability of all customer transactions. For that, we use the most powerful encoding system of the market, SSL : Secure Socket Layer.
This encoding system is the most used on internet to protect transmissions of information between a customer and a server. It allows the transfer of banking datas on line in full safety. Moreover, it is compatible with the last versions of all navigators of the market.
In addition, a message will announce that the customer is about to view pages through a secure connection. This proves that the website is safe and that the customer can enter his card number with confidence.
SKI PLANET informs again that it does not keep any credit card number. No automatic debit is made.
How to guarantee the transfer securisation of the customer bank details ?
The SSL Software crypts all bank details at the time of their data entry. During their unique transfer via Internet, it is then impossible to read them. When received, SKI PLANET decrypts these numbers to treat cutomer's order. The number remains perfectly confidential throughout the transfer on the Internet network.
Booking fees are based on net prices.
Booking cancellation involves fees which are invoiced to customer depending on "cancellation conditions" mentionned on each step of the booking (click on "Residence information").
Ski passes and food pack cancellations are not refundable.
Ski equipment cancellation is subject to the following conditions:
- Up to 28 days before arrival date: 30% (amount of the deposit that is not refund)
- From 28 to 22 days: 40%
- From 21 to 14 days: 50%
- From 13 to 4 days: 90%
- From 3 days to arrival day and in case of no show: 100% of the total amount. No refund will be claimed.
Any cancellation must be sent to SKI PLANET by registered letter or exceptionally by fax 3 days before arrival date.
The customer has the possibility to contract an insurance proposed by SKI PLANET : thanks to consult the covers.
Before the checkout inventory is proceeded, the occupants must put back furnitures and objects at their place. The customer agrees to make the accommodation perfectly clean, either by cleaning it himself, or by paying a cleaning service.
The occupants will abstain in a absolute way to throw in the sinks, tubs, toilets, etc... any objects which could block the drains, otherwise they will be asked to pay costs. The deposit, given at arrival, is sent back after costs deduction due to damages, insufficient cleaning or keys get back too late.
The occupants must strictly comply with the rules of the establishment. In case of obvious problems caused to other customer, SKI PLANET reserves the right to claim for indemnity.
The occupants will not claim any rent deduction or any indemnity in the case of an urgent and unexpected repair, which has to be done by the owner,during the stay. The occupants could not claim for refund based on a pro-rata of the week in case of an anticipated departure during the stay, whatever the reasons (except if the customer paid an insurance). The occupants will live in the appartment as civilised people and will give all their consideration to the quietness and need of sleep of the others residents. SKI PLANET cannot be responsible of any noise pollution from the neighborhood, robery or damages. The customer will have to contact himself the local authorities. Under risk of cancellation, the occupants will not have the right to rent to other persons or to assign their rights of the present contract to whoever without the special consent of the establishment manager.
Touristic regions are still developping. SKI PLANET cannot be informed systematically, even be responsible of all construction works or events in the resort during the season, either by individuals or by public or local authorities. Nevertheless, as much as SKI PLANET is informed of important and noisy works or events in the establishment or the resort, the tenant will be informed too. The opening and closing of the establishment may not always coincide with the opening and closing dates of the resort.
The residences are equiped for tourist stays. Published pictures are an illustration of the accommodation but are not contractual. The selected lodging can be slightly different from the pictures. It is the same for apartment description (surface, structure…) which are organised by type of lodging, that is to say, for two lodging of same categorie, it could appear a few differences which are not substantial. SKI PLANET strives to provide the most accurate descriptions of all the proposed locations.
Lodgings's description specifies the maximum number of beds available in each appartment. The use of a lodging at its maximum capacity mentionned on the descriptions can give the impression of less comfort. The customer must respect the maximum capacity and will be the unique responsible of any complaint occured on site if the maximum capacity is not respected. Some establishment may accept less 2 years old babies in addition to the maximum capcacitues, this is obviously subject to specific conditions during the stay. During low season, services proposed on site can become fewer. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and restaurant are generally opened, but with limited hours and menu choice. In case of bad weather, specific cleaning, maintenance, lake of clients or for any other incident which would be independent of SKI PLANET will, those services could be unavailable.
If the accommodation is exceptionally unavailable due to problem totally independent from SKI PLANET's will, a solution of replacement will be proposed to the customer as quickly as possible. If he refuses, the amount paid by the customer will be refund.
Deposits may be requested on site for accommodation and ski equipment. The customer will contract directly with providers concerned and shall be solely responsible for the proper use of goods and services that they will receive under this warranty.
When the customer doesn't present himself or in the case of a differed arrival, neither SKI PLANET, nor the person in charge of the residence cannot be responsible and cannot bear the reimbursement of potential expenses in a hotel. If the tenant cannot arrive at the hour mentioned, he must contact the residence and organize a new schedule of arrival. The same conditions apply for an anticipated departure.
Within the 24 hours following the entry in their apartment, the occupants will have to inform the reception or SKI PLANET of any problem observed. During the stay, the possible complaints must be formulated to the reception manager in order to avoid any inconveniences during vacations. After the stay, the customer can send a written claim (by registered mail with return receipt) within a maximum of 15 days. No claim shall be concidered beyond this period. Any claim not reported to the staff on site shall not be considered and will be takend into account for any compensation. SKI PLANET does not own properties. The accommodation and services detailed on the website and provided to customer are in conformity with information previously provided by residence managers: in case of changes during season, Ski-planet cannot be hold as responsible.
If the tenant has a special wish or request (appartment located in ground floor for example), SKI PLANET will communicate it to the establishment at the time of booking: wishes are taken in consideration as much as possible, but cannot be guaranteed, "If possible but not guaranteed".
Some facilities are equipped to accommodate disabled people. A request should be addressed to SKI PLANET for agreement with the establishment. It is very important to mention disability at the time of booking. Without this information, SKI PLANET is not responsible for the lake of information and no claim will be considered after the customer's stay if the facilities are not adapted to the needs.
The customer cannot benefit from a promotional offer which could appear after his reservation, excepting for an additional lodging. Indeed, promotional offers are not retroactive. Special offers on consecutive weeks are not accumulative with other promotions.
In accordance with the French data-processing law and freedoms dated on January 6th,1978 (Article 27), the customer has the right to acceed, to correct and to remove himself from the setting of data layout concerning him. Personal information that the customer entrusts SKI PLANET when he make a reservation (details, addresses, e-mail.) are exclusively used in order to provide him the service requested, the management of his file. By guaranteeing the greatest confidentiality, SKI PLANET commits not to reveal or sell to thirds any information concerning the customer.
